The Magician’s Story
In the forests of a magical land, there was a magician. He often found himself in these woods, committed to his craft at the altar. There he would bring his tools to control the elements. He’d performed many rituals there: of healing, of hexing, of strengthening, of nourishing. He was always alone, and he liked it that way. In those moments, he was at peace in nature and felt he could come closer to understanding it—more so than in the village! Not that he was opposed to village living, but people fascinated him more than they related to him. He felt apart from all that, and was content to explore the mysteries of the cosmos with his cup, athame, wands, and pentacle.
